BH Bikes are Here
Hardcore Bikes is now Edmonton's exclusive BH Bikes dealer. Since 1909, BH Bikes has made some of the finest bikes on the planet. Based in Spain, their bikes have won six Vueltas as well as numerous Tour and Giro stages.
In recent years, through their sponsorship of Pro Tour teams such as Liberty Seguros, Astana and AG2R they have developed a line of high performance bicycles that are lighter, stiffer and more ergonomic. BH manufactured the first monocoque carbon frame weighing less than 800 grams, placing their frames among the lightest and most efficient in the world and creating a new category – Ultralight bicycles.
Why BH? In North America, BH and Pivot bikes share distribution so whenever we went to the big bike shows like Interbike or Dealer Camp, BH and Pivot always shared the same booth. We were already a Pivot dealer and would check out the new bikes from them but we invaribly ended up wandering through the BH side in the same way children wander through candy stores. Personally, what grabbed me first was the RX1 cross bike; when I first set eyes on that (in the Hardcore Green colour of course) I just had to have one. Being a self-confessed weight weenie, my second favourite is, naturally, the Ultrallight but the G5 is also on the fantasy quiver list.
