Wolf Ridge is the ideal mountain bike for riding anything and everything. The no-compromise Naild R3ACT – 2 Play suspension system uses advanced kinematics to redefine what full suspension can be with plush, ground-tracing suspension along with unparalleled pedaling efficiency. With 160mm of RockShox Monarch tuned suspension and SRAM's value-packed GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, Wolf Ridge gives new meaning to all-mountain capability. The light and stiff UD carbon frame paired with Boost hub spacing rides fast with great feedback, and the stout RockShox Lyrik fork guides 29-inch Stan's Flow MK3 hoops with precision. Shimano XT hydraulic disc brakes lay down the power with great modulation for complete control on technical descents, too. A KS LEV dropper seatpost and Deity handlebar and stem round out the cockpit with a smooth blend of stylish performance.
A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.
Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.
Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
